It was raining, as forecasted, when we awoke, so I didn't take my normal morning jog. We completed our weekly cleaning, while it continued to rain. The Elders invited us to join them for lunch at Blaze Pizza. And it continued to rain. Postponing the beach activity was a wise decision.
This afternoon, President Cusick sent an email to all missionaries say that we should be back to our apartments at 4 pm and to stay there for the evening. His concern is the increasing severe rain associated with Tropical Storm Colin. The winds and rain are much worse in the Tampa area and further north. We have been receiving a lot of rain, but no steady downpours yet. I hope this is not a harbinger of weather to come this summer for the hurricane season.
