We participated in the Sarasota North District Meeting today. The meeting was held in the Bradenton building. I believe it was beneficial that we attended. It is a small district with only eight missionaries in attendance plus us. They also have a new district leader, Elder Hicken. He has only been the district leader for two weeks. The training for the meeting was to follow up on previous discussions about engaging ward members with the proselyting efforts especially using Sundays and identifying areas of improvement by the missionaries.
After the meeting, we drove to the mission office to say good-bye to Pres. and Sis. Healey. They have completed their mission and will be returning home on Saturday. Since home for them is Provo, we will certainly see them again. They have been great to work with, and Renee and Sis. Healey have become good friends.
