We attended the district meeting in Sarasota today. This is the southern part of the Sarasota Zone. At one time, this was a large district. However, with the recent movement of missionaries, this is now a relatively small district. We enjoy visiting this district because we work with them, and of course it is the closest district meeting to our apartment.
The theme for this district training meeting was "Sunday is Game Day." This has been a theme for our mission for some time. The concept is that Sundays provides the opportunity to work with members to obtain referrals and arrange for appointments for the week. The discussion was on what missionaries had done with members that had worked well ... and what hadn't.
